Here is a CubeSat I designed for Space Concordia. The design follows strict guidelines provided by the Space Concordia Spacecraft division. This satellite is meant to orbit earth while monitoring forest fires using AI and relay information back to ground base via the onboard chip. 

A simple shaft with different types of gears to receive an input via a gear connected to the shaft via a retaining key. The rotational motion is then transmitted throughout the shaft to the next gear, which ideally would be coupled with another gear connected to a different shaft to transmit the rotational motion at a reduced speed. 

The slider-crank mechanism represents a piston cylinder, using SolidWorks motion simulator. Different rotational speeds were applied to the crank and the linear motion of the slider was analyzed while different forces were applied to the slider.
